The Trustees of the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation Coldwater Trust are pleased to invite Band Members and Band Programs to submit proposals for the 2026 funding intake.

Intake period is June 03, 2026, through to August 31, 2026, Trustees will be reviewing proposals on a monthly rolling deadline.

The Coldwater Trust was established to help support the long-term wellbeing, growth, and prosperity of the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation community. Through this funding process, the Trust continues to invest in projects, programs, initiatives, and opportunities that benefit Band Members and future generations.

Please choose between the two types of submissions we are accepting for 2026:

1. Band Programs:

-Economic Development of the Community and/or its Corporations
-Preservation of protection of culture and heritage in the Community
-Improvement of infrastructure of Reserve lands or on lands owned by the Community, corporation, or the Trust

Applicants are encouraged to review the Trust Agreement carefully and include all required supporting documentation to help Trustees assess proposals fairly and effectively.
