Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation Coldwater Trust Agreement

The Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation Coldwater Trust was established to ensure that settlement funds are protected, responsibly managed, and used to create lasting benefits for current and future generations.

The Trust exists to support initiatives that strengthen our community, improve quality of life for members, preserve our culture and language, and contribute to the long-term prosperity of Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation. Rather than spending settlement funds all at once, the Trust invests its assets and uses approved distributions to support meaningful projects and programs that align with the purposes set out in the Trust Agreement.
